Kansas City Restaurant Week is KC’s premier dining event founded by the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association and Visit KC in an effort to support the local restaurant community. 2016 marks the seventh year for the 10-day dining event, spotlighting KC as one of the country’s premier dining events. Each year, KCRW partners with local charities to raise funds for deserving causes. In 2015 alone, the 160 participating restaurants raised more than $310,000, boosting the event’s six-year charitable total to more than $1 million. 2016 Kansas City Restaurant Week will benefit BoysGrow (www.boysgrow.com), Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (www.ccvi.org), Cultivate Kansas City (www.cultivatekc.org), Kansas City Regional Destination Development Foundation, and Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association Education Foundation.
