Few things go as well together as an afternoon happy hour and patios on a warm spring day. And thanks to West 39th Street’s newest restaurant, Aep, Kansas Citians can dine on Thai cuisine on a new rooftop space that overlooks the district.
The restaurant, which opened late last year, also added a new happy-hour menu, available to diners Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. Select house cocktails from Aep are $6 during happy hour, and beer drinkers can enjoy Boulevard’s Tank 7 for $7 and Pabst Blue Ribbon for $3.
Small plates options include charcoal-grilled pork skewers for $6, a Central Thai green papaya salad with sticky rice for $5, and Isaan-style sausage with pickled cabbage for $6.
Aep is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. To see the restaurant’s full menu, click here.
