Artist, designer, jewelry maker: Kansas City native Jennifer Janesko wears many hats. Her delicate, modern jewelry can be found on the necks, ears and wrists of K.C.’s most fashionable, as well as on national TV shows like Pretty Little Liars.

It wasn’t long after she launched her jewelry collection in 2012 that local shoppers caught on to her chic designs, which include bold cuffs, delicate earrings and the ever-popular KS/MO necklace.

The Corset Fold Over Pendant is one of our favorite pieces, with its beaded texture and versatility. The pendant comes on a 30-inch chain, but can be added to a chain of any length, depending on the look you’re going for or the outfit you’re wearing. We’re partial to the 22-karat gold option, but the necklace also comes in polished sterling or a rhodium black finish. It retails for $220 and can be purchased here.

Throw it on over a little black dress for a touch of sophistication, or over a simple white T-shirt for a more laid-back look. Either way, you’ll be roaming the streets of Kansas City in style.
