No downtown parking? No problem. Thanks to Downtown Dazzle, Kansas City residents and guests can navigate the streets of Kansas City by way of the KC Streetcar and a designated trolley this holiday season.
Here’s how the program works: On the weekends of Dec. 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18, a free trolley will be available to transport downtown visitors and residents from Crown Center to the Power & Light District. The trolleys will run from 5 to 9 p.m. each Friday and Saturday for a scenic ride up and down Grand Boulevard.
The Downtown Dazzle experience also includes VIP shopping experiences Dec. 3 and 11 for $20 apiece. The ticket includes mini-coach transportation to and from shopping destinations, complimentary seasonal cocktails, a free tote bag with coupons, lunch specials at designated restaurants, and access to trunk shows and discounts.
The Dec. 3 shopping trip will take visitors to Crown Center, the West Bottoms and the Power & Light District. On Dec. 11, shoppers will be able to browse the shops in Crown Center, the Power & Light District and Union Station’s Holiday Swing Indie Craft Fair.
An urban homes tour, which will make 16 stops from the Crossroads Arts District to the City Market, will also be available for downtown visitors through the Downtown Dazzle program. You can RSVP for the homes tour here.
